... or how to be an Ace in 3 easy steps.

I often see people write about how steep the AH learning curve is.  I contend that it's not steep at all once you've got your controllers set up and know how to get off the runway.

In fact, there really is no need for a TA or for a Help and Training forum.  All you need to know to be an ace is:

1.  Fly straight at your opponent.  No matter what he does keep flying straight at him.

2.  Open fire early.  The earlier the better so you don't waste any time getting your kill.

3.  If you miss keep flying straight at him until you collide.

There,  that's it.  That's all you need to know.  Soon you'll have 0.5 K/S and at least 0.5 K/D.  You will be revered by noobs and squeakers everywhere.

and good luck... cya in the tower.

;)

In upcoming editions we'll cover getting behind the 3/9 line through vulching and safety in numbers.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Here's something a little more indepth, written by one of the greats, who is now also a lame little spell casting elven fairie ***** in WoW. However, despite his unfortunate fate, his wisdom in AH still rings true.

And here is how the whining starts.
1. When someone is flying straight at you, obviously intending to HO, don't maneuver or try to avoid it.  Just keep on flying straight at that HOing $$#%#.  When he is in range open up with your guns and keep flying straight at that HOing #%## untill the last second.
2. When your plane explodes or he "collides with you" start sreaming, punch your monitor and then get on 200 and call him bad names because you were absolutly force to accept the head on attack that he initiated.

I'm the worst pilot ingame ya know!!!

It's all unrealistic crap requested by people who want pie in the sky actions performed without an understanding of how things work and who can't grasp reality.
