Yesterday I was in an Osti. I drove about 35 minutes to get to a strat target and just as I got there the phone rang. It was my brother so I stopped, turned the volume down, pointed my gun and started shooting planning on firing off my clip and logging off.
Pretty soon I hear a countyman faintly screaming (faintly because my volume was turned down) "Shoot the puffy ack". He was flying buffs overhead. Then he started calling me names over range (shouting) so I turned the volume all the way off. I never moved and couldn't see any of the ack from where I was. I just didn't want to totally make a waste of the long drive so I was just trying to empty my guns into anything I could.
When my guns were dry I looked up and the same idiot had PM'd me several times calling me names again and proudly proclaimimg that he had killed most of the buildings while I spent a long time driving to the target (I guess there were enough buildings to go around because every one of my shells hit something).
I logged off and spent the next hour or so talking to my brother.
Here's a few thoughts out of this:
1. I drive all the way to this strat so I can kill the ack and let this clown get the rest of the target?
2. Who made this dweeb commander in chief?
3. Don't worry about what someone you don't even know is doing in the game, do your own thing.
4. Never get angry at a countryman who's not responding, you don't have the slightest clue why.
