I know this subject has been brought up over and over again..

but honestly why not?

1 LW arena
1 MW arena
1 EW arena

Seems it would make things a hell of a lot better and would populate the MW & EW arena a little more.

This way the big maps could be used in the LW and we could have the big epic air battles that so many still crave for.

For the guys that want to play with smaller numbers they could filter into the EW & MW arena's. This would get more numbers in those two areas instead of it being a place for score potatos. I just can't see a down side in this..

So I have to ask why not?

I am torn...

I played many years ago when there was only 1 MA and enjoyed the large numbers.  (I also enjoyed night time too)

BUT... there is one reason I like having to LW's...  MAPS!!!
If I log in and one has a map that I hate, I can go to the other and pray that the map there is more tolerable.

because if there was one LW it would have to be capped.... because HTC said so....... so the over flow would HAVE to play in either EW or MW. Those that would HAVE to play in the other arenas would deluge HTC with emails complaining that they can't get into LW, and promising to quit.

HTC is out to make money, so they wouldn't do something like that, so it pretty much boils down to this...........

Yea but with more numbers maps would be reset more often, I don't think you would have the 7 days a week of TT and wait for a Sunday reset as often.

You could always go to the MW or EW to play other maps, as they would likely be more populated. I do think if there were better numbers MW would likely start pulling in more guys.

Not so... anyone ever seen the old pizza map reset?  When that one came up on the rotation, you knew you were stuck with it for a week.  Now if they stuck with the smaller maps and higher numbers, we would get resets faster.

The maps are not reset often any more due to the capture method HTC has put in. You must own 90% of your country and 40% of EACH of the other two countries. The idea was to stop the "ganging" of one country by the other two. The ganging still occurs, because most people don't think "strategically" so they just keep hammering in the same direction. Using the bigger maps wouldn't change any of that.

I would kinda like it, but im with the minority here for sure.

It's the same thing as with a rolling planeset: The majority of players would get very upset....

Upset because there would be more players? I'm not sure I follow, I thought more people wanted the single arena.

The fact that countless people complain about not being able to fly with their squad mates. The fact that countless people want bigger maps, and the fact I know for one during off peak times it becomes hard to find good fights with split arenas.
