Whitey's Buccaneers, originally called 'The Buccaneers', was one of the early Squads in Aces and some of our members even participated in beta testing Aces High. Before Aces, we few Warbirds too.
3-4 years ago the squad folded. Recently a number of the original members have got together to reform the squad under the new name.
We are a squad oriented group, that likes to do Base Captures, Base Defense, scenarios, Bomber missions, Fighter sweeps, Bomber Escort, and most important, re-enacting historical air battles.
We're a bunch of old farts that like to work as a group and achive goals in our missions, besides, just having a good'ol time flying together.
On Squad nights, in the old days, we used to meet at a local Village Inn, (or as we call it; 'The V.I.), for some grub and a chance to go over our night's mission. Once we have a few more members, we will be starting this tradition once again. Occasional like , we might even git together for a couple of beers too.
If you live in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area and are interested, git with us and talk things over. You can find us online almost any night after 10pm for certain. We also fly earlier in the evening. Our current Squad night is Thursday at 7pm. You can almost always find us online then.
