Pilot Etiquette Suggestions
« on: August 22, 2007, 01:05:50 PM »
A couple of etiquette suggestions to some pilots out there..

1) Do not swoop down into a 1 vs. 1 engagement that your teammate is winning, spraying your teammate and the enemy con with gunfire, and finish a hard earned kill that someone else has put the work into.  I would suggest remaining at a higher altitude in observation range, in case the enemy con slips away or your teammate needs help.

2) Do not pop a check 6 call to pull your teammate off an enemy con, so you can move in for the kill.  I would suggest only using a check 6 call when your teammate is actually in danger(novel idea huh?).

Feedback on these suggestions is appreciated!

...and this is an old subject, so old it was included in NETACES.ORG.

However, it still goes on today. About the only thing you can do, is to go to another field, find another fight, and hope no-one there does the same thing.

These are good thoughts, that have been displayed on netaces.org for the past few years, and ignored for just as long :)
