ok im trying to look at a film.I click on the AH film viewer and i need to choose a program to to open the file to.What do i do?I want to try my hand at making a vid.

How about you press the "Open" button, then you select a film you recorded from the "Films" folder in your "Aces High" directory.

You cannot be in the AH program either. SO close AH. THen you should be able to open it.

i got film viewer working i redownloaded the game yesterday.I really want to try and make a film.whats a good site,and what are some pointers on making a film.

First of all what I would do if I had Windows XP (Which I don't) I would export the film to .AVI format, then open the film with Windows Movie Maker. At that point I would attempt to merge all the separate .AVI shots together to make a neat film synchronized to music.

Another good editing program would be Vega(s), most of the brilliant movie makers here use it to make some of those neat "slow motion" shots. Plenty more working effects in it that give your film a very nice glow in the community.

The new AH Film Viewer has added some good abilities that will take getting used to. They may have eliminated the need for Fraps. The new ability to script camera shots with the FILM SHOTS options and export these selected film shots to .avi files goes along way to improving some of the short comings of the original Film Viewer.

It may eliminate the need for God's Eye films to get some of those neat shots.

I wouldn't buy it (Speaking of myself) because I have Adobe PhotoShop7 and Macromedia Flash MX 2004 and on rare occasions use them. Vegas to me would be another application eating up disk space.

Unless you're into video editing on a more than basic scale it would be a waste of money.
