First of all what I would do if I had Windows XP (Which I don't) I would export the film to .AVI format, then open the film with Windows Movie Maker. At that point I would attempt to merge all the separate .AVI shots together to make a neat film synchronized to music.
Another good editing program would be Vega(s), most of the brilliant movie makers here use it to make some of those neat "slow motion" shots. Plenty more working effects in it that give your film a very nice glow in the community.
