NO random Malfunctions, 20 Mile-Long Runways, etc...
I would pay triple for a Full (as much as you can anyway)
Realism Arena.
First, let me say, I, like some of the others reading here, thought you were asking for the "realism" to be turned down, not up. Sorry.
The problem with computer sims (at least with out present level of technology) is though more and more "realism" can be introduced, some of the issues created for "computer pilots", are not "issues" in "real life". Or at least are less of an issue.
No depth perception, no "Feel" concerning speed increases or decreases. No feeling of orientation while looking out the a side view (moving up, down, banking left or right). It's difficult to judge direction or orientation of other planes at even moderately long distances. Can't "feel" the plane vibrate. I mean, like the feel of increase engine vibrations. The issues with the limitations we face because of Gaming Joysticks, in the area of trim have been cited. We don't feel G's and no one ever get tired from working under the load of them. All of these are important "clues" that a real pilot would have, but we don't.
I'd pay triple for more realism too. If they were some of the "real" things I listed.
Best regards,
