Again, great interview and very nice piece, makes me look at LYNX in a new light and I am sure this is what was intended by the series. I wish you all the luck in your life and health bro!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Exactly!
I have played now for maybe a year and a half or so. in this time I , as I imagine we all have formed an overall veiw of the game as far as people we like and those we don't, ones that play fair and those who do not, good guys, bad guys, when we don't really know anything about anyone.
I am a rook, several months ago "Ren" was helping me out, i had said many times I would never switch sides, Ren got me to switch to knit and a whole new game openned up for me, players i had fought aganst i was now fighting along side, ones i didn't think to highly of are now my friends, I haven't flown Bish yet, but i do intend to.
i thought maybe thru these films, we could all get a glimps of some of the people we have formed opinions about and as mark said, "see them in a new light"
thats all these films are about, this is a game about cartoon airplanes, thats it thats all it is, and people just go nuts when SkyRock types how he owns soandso, And there are people who have never spoken to him never even saw him play the game first hand that hate him!
Truth is when I approached him about doing the film and then i had to sit down and talk with him, I really didn't know what to expect, but he really is a good guy and nothing like the SkyRock I expected, And Lynx is a great guy too, he's pretty much a "what ya see is what ya get sort" very cool dude's LYNX and SkyRock.
So, It's hard to dislike people when you get to understand their take on things, and it was my hope that by doing some of these bio's that people would do just that and build a little fellowship between cartoon combatants rather then slinging words back and forth.
Seems most people like the idea, and thats great, and if it helps to build a stronger more freindly community thats even better. I know that thru doing these films i have had a blast, and i now have found the one thing as addictive as the game itself, and thats making these darn films, ahhhhhhhh! just what i needed!
Anyways, hope you enjoy these first two, there are more in the works. So be good to each other and have fun in the Ma!
And Mark, I still haven't gotten that check, are you sure you have the address right?
