Semi Solid Nose vs Solid Nose B25

What is the advantage of taking the semi solid nose vs the solid nose (other than it looks cool). in the f6 position the nose is still all black, you would think in the semi solid version we could atleast look out of the nose even if there is no bomb sight or gun.

I'm firmly of the belief that the semi-solid was modeled so that Toad's Dad's bird "Quitch" could look right.  There is no other difference.  If so that's really a nice touch by the HTC folks.

For skinning purposes it does wonders too as not all the strafers had that nose glass painted over.

Undoubtedly correct.

Remember, it took them awhile - a short while, of course - to realize just what they invented with the skip-bombing strafer combo.  Then the noses got painted over.
