The only thing I have killed in a 25h so far is a p38, and I legitimately fought him.  I did not use the turrets, it was funny.:D

Look on page 3 of that link and it will tell you that yes it could, but it never happened operationally.  Hitech has stated many times, for a lot of stuff, that if it didn't happen operationally, it won't be modeled.  Also NO NUKES!!!!! I just thought I'd mention that.

Even if not torpedoes, the HVARs would be a nice addition.

Also, weren't 25Hs fit with pylons for external bombs?

So, if the torps were sitting in the ammo dump, but were never placed on the aircraft (due to missions actually flown not requiring them), then the capability is moot?  P-51's have 1000 lb bombs available and they were rarely used on Ponys.  I've read through every after-action report listed on that website, and there's not a single one that mentions the aircraft carrying rockets, although there are pictures, also on that website of the rockets on the planes.  So what then?

Oh, and no external bombs that I can find a source for...

We can't get anymore ordnance on the H.  It's maxed out our current ordnance system.  We'll revisit it when we complete an overhaul/expansion of the ordnance system.  We plan to do at some point when we can clear some time on the schedule.

The H model could carry a 2000lb torpedo. In addition, B25s of the 38th  bomb group(71st Wolfpack)  carry parafrag bombs to drop on japanese aircraft parked on airfields. Parafrags I believe weighed about 50lbs, they were also called Kinney cocktails. * HVAR rockets could be fitted as well.

That's the main problem with parafrags here, except for vulching, there's not much a 50lb bomb will do, except possibly deacking, but the H already has a far superior weapon for that in the pumpkin chucker.

I agree with ya Saxman...The rockets would be nice as well giving us the attack scoring option too.

Is the score really that important??In a make believe world in make believe planes you really need a Make Believe score???

Bring back the good ol days when you make believe took off and got into a make believe fight and didn't care about anything else but the fun you were having.
