OK, so Nicole Ritchie serves 82 mins for her crime and Lindsey Lohan pleas out for 1 day in jail and 10 hrs community service.

So you get drunk, high, steal someones car, run over their foot, run 100 mph plus through town chasing other cars while running lights and get busted with coke in your pocket at the police station. This after being picked up for DUI a few weeks earlier. The DA doesn't go for felony charges and only comes up with 2 misdemeanor charges and this deal.

It sad isn't it. It's also a shame the judge didn't stop the situation and say, nice agreement but here's what I sentence you to and hit them with at least the normal penalty if not the max.

I do. I think I will use these as precedent cases if I am to ever get arrested for the same crimes,.

Seems today that jail overcrowding was the reason she was released after less than 2 hours. Dunno if true but it was listed on the news.
