The G was and is still good in the vertical.  You just can't stretch out the vertical like you can with the J and the L because of the lack of WEP but other than that, it is still a potent plane in the vertical.

Yea that's what I was meaning if you want to BnZ pick either the J or the L. Not saying you can't do it in a G but it was the better suited for turn fighting.

No, you should continue flying straight and level at all times so I can keep killing you while you chase Fencer, Rap. :t
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

I don't think that by fighting in the vertical he meant to BnZ.  They are two different things

The G was always too nimble IMO. Hell you've still got the super flaps helping you out! It never should have turned with spit5s and A6ms, and I'm a little glad it lost a bit of that "uber"ness.

If you fly them at the same weight the L will certainly outshine the J or G.

The problem is getting it down to the same weight.

The L is definitely the best of the 3 overall but it is heavier so you cant do the same things with the same amount of fuel on board as the others.

But the addition of boosted ailerons and dive flap certainly make the L more capable than the J, especially for guys who fly a 3D fight.

I thought the G was better before it Sally Struthered on 600 LBS.

Whatever the J can do, the L can do it as well.

Yep it was, I used to LOVE the 38G it was nimble and a great plane to suprise the spitty jocks with.  I have not flown her since her weight gain, any of y'all S.A.P.P guys give any insight on her new performance.   Lastly if the performance has turned south too badly, I will use my next favorite 38J.
