Well folks, another Ozzfest under my belt 8/23. This year was entirely free.
2nd stage bands were great. Standouts includrd HateBreed (a perennial Ozzfest Band), Behemoth (a band out out Poland), and Devil Driver.
I would say though, that a band that I wa smost impressed with is a band called CHtoniC, out of Taiwan. Very loud, but crisp sounds. And the use a mix of metal and Tradional Chinese sounds. Awesome as far as the abilities as a band playing together, with speed , synk, and, progressions.
Main Stage was Static X, Lordi, Lamb Of God, and Ozzy. Was awesome!
Was funny people on lawn seats( was mud rained for 4 days prior), well moshing, total mudpit. Then they started throwing chunks of turf, giant mudball, and handfuls into the seating area, well back and forth it went for a good half hour. Noone tried to stop (Security) No harm, nofoul, was a funny sight.
