B. I don't believe them.

D. Downtown Boise looks alot more like a new age coffee shop than a rodeo.
5. I lived in the mountains for 2 years. Snow schmo.

I have friends in idaho.

They consider boise a hotbed of liberal commie pinko activity..  the even say in muted tones that there are colored people in boise!

The winters are far from mild tho.

You've already covered the weather angle and the cost of living issues. The terrain is rather boring at times, lots of low scrub and grass.

You do know it's about as Mormon as Utah don't you.

You should have access to good skiing and other outdoor activities. Really not a bad place to be if just a bit boring at times and for the winter......

Did you have a career change or just changing RV areas / company?
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Slight career change. I work for a company that makes RV components. We bought an existing manufacturing firm up here and I'm tasked with getting it profitable.

We haven't discussed money yet, hope to nail that down next week.

I lived in Pocatello, Idaho for a number of years, which is located down toward the southern end of the state about 5 hours east of Boise...  It's been 10 years since I've lived there but the southern area of Idaho is a descent place to live.  Housing was cheap, the overall cost of living was cheap.  Hell my electric bill average was 90 dollars a month, I would give anything to have that down here in Texas...

If your moving to Idaho. It might be handy to know of these laws in advance.

In Coeur d Alene - If a police officer approaches a vehicle and suspects that the occupants are engaging in sex, he must either honk, or flash his lights and wait for three minutes before approaching the car.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Eagle - Dirt may not be swept from ones house into the street.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Eagle - Bicycles are not allowed in the tennis courts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Eagle - Persons may not camp out on sidewalks in the city.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Pocatello - A law passed in 1912 provided that "The carrying of concealed weapons is forbidden, unless some are exhibited to public view.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Pocatello - A person may not be seen in public without a smile on their face.
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty
