Just wondering if anyone out there plays "Company of Heroes". Bought it last year and it's a great game!

It's a great game. Some things are kinda-sorta historical, some things most definately not. Only real flaw in it was late-game imbalances. Made for poor tournament play (starcraft is still the king).

I'd be happy to sell my hardly used copy cheap if anyone is interested. Great game for those that like the format, but I thought it was going to have a stronger realism factor than most RTS and was a bit wrong on that.

In computer gaming, real-time strategy (often abbreviated as RTS) is a genre of wargames which take place in real time, where resource gathering, base building, technology development and high-level control over multiple units ("harvest, build, destroy") are key components.[1]

RTS is distinct from turn-based strategy as RTS titles do not involve "turns" like board games such as chess. Rather, game time is continuous, and all players may interact with the game environment at any time. This is in many cases a very distinct form of play, as mere seconds of distraction could give the enemy an advantage (contrasting to turn-based where the opponent cannot counter until the player is done).

I think the first RTS I ever played was WARCRAFT II-loved it even though I was positive that "I'm too old to play computer games" as I told my friend who owned it.

Thanks FBplmmr. I suppose I should have tried wikepedia. Didn't think of it.
