i saw it, and with me being in california i saw it fully.

The moon from afar looked blood red" blood moon"
In a teliscop it looked DARk blue.

Kinda strange.

Its 4:27am and i still can't see the moon.
Im thinkin' its gone down, or the thick fog in the distance is blocking my view, ither way, very cool.

ooor, its the end of the world.
and russia is about to stomp the crap out some stuff.
"red flag(moon), go red team go!"

ither way, cool :aok

I woke up when it was going on, but I decided I was too tired to mess with it and stayed in bed. I was awake before it happened, I think that was the brightest I have seen the moon in a very long time.

I may never see a Lunar Eclipse, but atleast I saw a Harvest Moon. :)  . Was about 6-7 years ago, I was still a squeaker, and me and the family were comin home from something (can't remember what it was), I got out of the car, looked up, and said "The sky is falling!" :lol  . The moon was a redish orange color and filled the sky, it was amazing. Too bad we never too a picture.

ran errands before sun-up today & saw that it looked dim & orange. thought it was strange. heard the explanation for it on the radio.

thankfully it was still dark when i got back home & was able to let my kids go out to see it. They wanted to take a picture. unfortunately, we don't have a working camera that takes quality pictures, so we missed out on that part.

-Edit- yeah i ment to say benoclulars.

Yeah, thats what is a trip.

I had my naked eye "was red"
High power binoculars "it was dark blue"

Then when i looked thru my terliscope "bug huge highpowered thingy" it was a bright bright red.

Kinda confuseing but the general sense i have is the damn thing was red.

Still very cool, i slamed a six pack of busweizer and stayed up cussin' at the moon.Thougt it was a once in a life time thing, i was wrong.
Got kindas upset that "the world was ending"

So now my neighbors probably think im some screwless wack job who likes to cuss at the moon.
*sighs* such is life, at least they would be half right.

Wanted to see it, yet three miles of clouds at FL200 make it interesting to locate it.

Here in Southern California, the skies were clear.
I don't have a telescope so I grabbed my camera and took these pics.
I cropped and put them together.  Seems like the moon at first grew darker and then turned red.  Very cool.
