You know I used to be against this.

But the older I get the more I think that there are some people that I just wouldn't mind not hearing.

Come on HT make your players happy.

Give us a 32 person permanent squelch list.
And a 32 person buddy list that is lobby searchable.

I like that idea.  I would add though that if someone has you on their Perma-Squelch list, you can't put them on your buddy list. Nor should you be able to make someone a wingman if your on their Perma-Squelch list.

The only problem with perma-squelch is what happens if you squelch some guy today... 3 months from now when you forgot you did and you're asking him something on range vox and he's not answering you and you get P-O'd ?

Yes

I rarely use squelch, but when I do it's usually the same people.

I'd pay $10 more a month to get this.

I've actually had this happen to me in another game. Someone had annoyed me to the point I muted him. Several months later, at a pivotal time in game, I had a need to speak with him. After about 10 min trying to get his attention in the chat group I started talking trash about him. That lasted until someone asked me wth I was going on about because the guy had been answering me all along.

Why would you get upset if someone did not respond to you?  They could have simply had you squelched as well.

If someone wishes not to respond to you, they have every right not to.
