YIKES it scared me to death... but eventually I got over that.
Now you can't shut me up :rofl

Although vox doesn't work when I run my H2H arena due to the NAT router so I have learned in the forum.

Hello bj229r,

I have to agree with Shrew on this one. Computer games are, to me, uninteresting and boring. It is beyond me what guys see in them. ohh well

Flight Simulation I don't consider a game. Combat Flight Simulation with real people is way beyond any "computer game".

You used to be in CAP?? dam!!! re-join!!!:D  you've no idea the fun you're missing......i'm mission qualified scanner, and in about 3 weeks will be qualified observer.....working next on mission transport pilot..it's just been taking awhile, because i keep getting distracted by making sure the kids are learning/having fun.....htese cadets are the only kids i have...so i have 17 kids, once a week for about 2 hours. i've had em flying r/c models at our club, working on model rockets now, and teaching em about homeland security. soooo much to do.....and soooooo fun.....

ooo...and very nice to meet you too.....i fly rook in both LW arenas, and knight in MW and EW........

That is so wonderful John!!!!!!! You must be having a ball!

Tnx for correcting me ... yes BlueBirds! ohh... opps... ThunderAngels lol
uhhhh Thunderbirds! thats it!
Sadly... I am a lil'bit dyslexic on some things. Please forgive me.

I would watch the guys fly with those radio control airplanes when I was young. It was fascinating to watch but I was too shy to ask them to teach me to do it and was afraid I would break it anyway. So I just watched.

On CAP, the AFB hosting the CAP I joined had previously changed missions from  Bomber Training to Security Training... some sort of Cripto (sp?) stuff... all very hush hush. Therefore, there was a lack of pilots to support CAP and thus is was just a shell of its former self. too bad... I really wanted to fly.

Interestingly, back in the day... B-24 and B-25 crews were trained there.

That’s great on mentoring the kids!!! I am sure they appreciate it very much. Do you have any girls in your CAP squadron? If so, you may be mentoring a future CFP (ChickFighterPilot).

As I mentioned before, I am an Air Force Brat... Dad was a 30-year man so all us kids grew up with av-gas/jp-3 in our blood. I have a niece who has served in Iraq and a brother who has gone TDY to Saudi many times. He is a Major in the AF and serves with the Space Command... some sort of satellite stuff having to do with EWACS .

Will look for you in the Skies! <>

What callsign?  That's my name...   my father, Hugh*, named me after my grandfather, Holden VII, so that makes me Holden VIII.

As for my avatar, you have something against Betty Grable?

Good God men!   Let them fly in peace.

Hi Talon!

Thank you!

All I want to do is fly and have a good time and learn ACM.

Most guys, 99.9%, are very respectful! Thanks for speaking up...
It's that 0.1% that give guys a bad name and that isn't fair to the other 99.9%.

If 99.9% group ChkSix the 0.1% group about this when it happens, it will make the AH Skies a lot more friendly. All I can basically do is ignore it and hope it will stop.

Will look for you in the skies! <>

Some of the women I had the honor of flyin/GV'in with over the years....

1. Stormy99

2. Mrs/Ms Sceva

3. Betty

4. SheGotYa

5. Erica/Lovlydth

I'm sure I might have missed one or two but everyone named above I can remember I've either flown their wing, and was saved by them or been owned by them every once in awhile. :)

Well ladies if you ever need a Knight in shining armor to come around and scare off a creep just yell.

Not that you couldn't deal with him yourself but I enjoy rescuing the occasional damsel in distress.  :)

Anything I can do just yell.

Ohhh and watch out for Silat or he'll steal your best dresses.

hehehe...funny thing is.....i fly the r/c models too!!! i have 2 t-34's, a p51D, an extra 300, and a few others.....along wiht a helicopter. ya shouldn't have been shy about asking though....most people in the r/c hobby actually long for new people to teach, and we ALL break em sooner or later.....i've had i think over a dozen crashes in the 6 years i've been flying models....some have more than that

yes, we have..or had 3 female cadets...one who is also an air force brat.....she's the one i mentioned that we got an interview with  Thunderbird 3.....and it was amazing the change  it made in her.......could see and hear it. her dad was re-assigned to somewhere in the mid-west, so we lost her. we did however make her promise to come back and show off a bit when she gets to fly the fun fast stuff!oo yea...she likes harleys and mustangs too.....kinda screams fighter pilot, huh?:D  we have another female, who it seems is going to head to the coast guard....she REALLYn want's to fly helicopters....so right now i'm working with a friend of mine that owns a helicopter flight school trying to get him to donate some time in a heli to/for her. the only other female cadet is a ground pounder.....:D

i don't know how old you are...but if you've got a pilots lisence, you can fly for cap.....you'd just have to take your check ride all over again with a CAP examiner.....and any missions you fly are FREE flight time:D

and.......a big <> to you, and your family for what you're all doing for us!!!

Thanks for the for my Brother, Niece, and Dad; I know they would appreciate it.

Its funny how some families have never been associated with the military and for other families its a thread that passes from generation to generation as it is with my family.

On your future CFP, she sounds a lot like me... hope she sticks with it.
