Happy Early Birthday to me...

Well, seems others have a thread devoted to them, I might as well have my 15 minutes.

Sunday is my birthday, and should be a blast!  My first flying lessons a AND I get to go to a shooting range.  [/gloat]

Oh wait... shooting RANGE...  

My bad.  Try paintball.  It provides the satisfaction of shooting your best friend, while not actually killing him.

Better yet, do a fly by during a paintball match.

Make it a good one Mensa.  Just don't auger in the real thing.  Wrecking cartoon 38s is one thing.  No SAPP augering rules apply to the real thing :)

I took my first flying lesson shortly after turning 16 and I neve augered the real thing even once.  No parts left in farm fields, definately remembered things like flaps, trim etc :)

whatcha flyin? cessna 152 is a pretty cool little airplane....but most of the time agonizingly slow. if you can afford the extra and want to fly a cessna, try to fly a 172.........another option, is a diamond DA 20.....VERY nice airplane.....and low fuelburn too...i think cruise is around 120 or so on 6 gallons/hour.


who ya strapping to the target post at the range?:D  shooting......archery or handguns? both are fun, although i lean towards archery......and that mostly due to money..as in i spend too much flying.

I'll be shooting handguns, but I do have a makeshift archery range in my back yard.  I got two pizza boxes, duct taped them on top of each other, and propped it up against a cinder block.
