Well, let me be the first to say it was fun!

We had some problems getting going, and the group was split up. When we were intercepted we had 8 bombers and 6(?) escorts facing what appeared to be 20 109's and 190's.

It was over quick, though we took our share of them too. In the end not one bomber made it.

Better luck tomorrow! Salute to Sabre to setting it up!

Unfortunately the allies did not make it to the target.  (Rook city)  We were intercepted by wave upon wave of 109s and a few 190s as well.  Even though the mission was short, it was a quite a sight to see that many bombers close together.  Here is a screenshot after the first wave was repeled with 1 bomber downed and another with heavy damage.

I've got a film from the 190's perspective. It show's my kill of a b17 a p51 and a wonderful European theater f4u1c.  It alsow shows my dramatic crash landing after I ran out of fuel.  I survived

I have no way of posting it though    Can I email it to somebody who can post it here for me?

I've got a great film that just needs someone to post it.  From 109's perspective.  Great view of the bomber box and 5 kills total. 1 a tentative (going down with no vert stab) 3 official bomber kills and a 51 (almost all MG ammo, finished by ack)
Kudos to the brave buff pilots and yes, I was the first 109 to break your ranks (lone, before the other waves hit   ) Was flying armed recon for rooks with 30mm and gondolas.

I was the vert stab buff, and yes, I died.

The thing to me that stands out was that we were caught a bit too low, we were intercepted deep in our own territory, and we were too light on escort. It was fun nonetheless!

BTW, I see my name preserved for posterity!

Looking forward to the film, I'm curious to see who was flying the 1C ...

I guess we need another arena for these events.

It was fun but way to quick.

I knew we were in trouble when I saw Kieren go down on the first pass of that 109.

When the swarm finally got there I didn't know who to shoot there were so many of them.

Next time we will get more alt before heading E.

I'll send in my film as soon as I get home.  Warning....  once into Knight land we became more like the keystone cops trying to find the bombers.   My flight got all mixxed up hehe.  You can see my emotions getting higher the lower my fuel got.

It's a long film, and the last 5 min or so is where all the action is.....

Hi folks,

Although it was a bad day for the allies(remembers me at Schweinfurt Raid), we had a lot of fun .
Thanx for all who joined this scenario + for the people who worked it out.
Need more of this...
