I know that there are really very few hard and fast rules to this game. Mostly just things that are frowned upon by the majority of the players. If the game allows it then who am I to call it cheating?

But here I go anyway.

I was in the MW the other morning. I was defending a base with another bish and saw one of the attackers switch sides to bish and begin making supply drops to the attacking side's GVs using a C-47.

Just that simple. Switch sides then continue to work with your buddy to try to capture the field. There is no way to stop this while it is happening. The game allows it to happen and there is no defense against someone who is willing to switch sides and then continue to help their former country. IMO this is cheating and rather dweeb-like.They had numbers and could have forced the base if they had wanted.

At least now I know why the guy in the SB refuses to fire at the CV.

Cheating? No.

Dweebish? Yes.

There are those that will say that you could switch sides and kill the guy doing the resupply. This is true and it may take a while if the situation is one that takes place at a gv spawn and the v-base that the spawn comes from has all VH's down. In this case you will have to switch sides then fly there to kill the resupply guy.

Another option would be to get within range of the supplies and take them yourself.

I am not sure if shooting the supplies would work. Never thought of that. I would not switch sides to kill him. That would be doing the same thing they were. IMHO it is not much different than switching sides to let your buddy vulch you repeatedly. You change sides, then do something that allows one of your friends to achieve a goal in the game that they could not otherwise achieve.

Shooting supplies, either from a GV or a plane does work.

If you are in a GV, and can get close enough, you can use their supplies and you can also use the them all up ... just keep clicking the "supplies" button until it disappears ... no more supplies for them.
