Stuka Siren V2.0
« on: September 04, 2007, 06:06:49 PM »
Updated the Stuka siren, now it sounds more authentic, plus the repeating cycle is very inconspicuous although there is a slight grumble but that is just the sound the siren made.
Hope everyone likes it!

Go to this folder, C:\Program Files\HTC\Aces High II\sounds\ju87d3, or whatever your AH folder is named, and delete the file named wind and then place the new sound in the Ju87d3 folder, make sure it is unzipped and renamed as wind. Then you can go dive and hear the shrieking siren, although the fact that they were removed on later Stukas like the model we have.
Anyway, hope you like it.

Make sure you deploy dive flaps and judge your distance from the ground correctly.

Nice formation.
Hope you like the siren.

Thats what i thought, all the weird stuff and messed up from me editing and changing the speed was gone, it sounds so much more realistic and smooth.

Can someone tell me how to make external sounds?
I want to blend the engine with the siren for external.
So when there is an enemy Stuka I get to hear the siren when it flys by.

I would be cool to have it so if your flying, you just here the engine. Then, you dive and the siren kicks in.

Go past 300mph for it to kick in, put wind volume up to 100, maybe tuern engine down a bit.

Please tell me how much you like my siren instead of silently grabbing it.
