The other day I am just cruising the skies, on the way to a base to pork, I set the auto pilot, and at the same time I am liting a smoke, when BAM BAM the wings of my 51D are gone and I am falling to the ground.  I can't remember who it was but I was fairly embarassed for my lack of SA.  I guess its true that smoking does kill.

When me and my roomate were climbing out and talking to each other we failed to notice someone coming for the pick.  Our nice formation made for 2 kills on one pass.   UGH!

Was auto-climbing and tracers started flying by me. Instead of turning I kept straight and thought "WTH is shooting me??!" :lol  Pretty obvious it was an enemy, but I just had to look back to see what it was. An enemy La-7 tore my wing off and the whole way down I'm laughing yelling 'HAHA! Come shoot me again I'll shoot you haha! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! and shooting the whole way down. It was both humiliating and fun. :D :lol

Well, you know when you have someone beat and you are filling a little too good about your self and instead of killing the guy, you start removing parts with your BBs. Left wing tip, then try for the right, get that and aim for the rudder and the elevators being very careful no to kill the guy so the torture continues. Oups, I missed and got the engine.  next thing  you know I am D50 in front of his 4 20mms.

Welcome to the tower.  Idiots have a sit to the left. Stupid people to right.  Ded we have a special room for you.  please enjoy your stay

Went head on with an A6M5 with my 262 in AH1. Started blaling away 400 hundred with out landing a hit, he removed my vertical stab with a single 20mm hit. I was about 12k so I had a little time to think about that one on the way down.

don't think i've ever been humiliated in AH, though I have had my share of things that happend that I wish hadn't.

The other day, just an example, I was saw a low 38, dived in.  due to my all that speed, an obvious overshoot.  oh well, make another pass, and my pull out drawer at the desk falls off, dropping my stick and throttle otw down.  I enter a spin and crash, murdr shot you down.  I would be lying if I didn't say I was a little embarrassed, but there is no way to explain that without it seem like making excuse, so I just let it go.  I also would be lying if I said I never lawn darted chasing a chute, or crashed into a tree, or done a million other things that really were not to smart....but hey, if you can't have fun doing stupid stuff in game, then the game would not be as much fun:)

Anytime I get sliced and diced in my bombers by one fighter its pretty humiliating. It doesnt happen often anymore, hardly at all actually, but theres a few airplanes and a few pilots I have a lot of trouble with. Most of all the 163, tho I did at least hit one yesterday and chased another off.

Funny but I know right away when Im in trouble by how the bogey sets up his attack. Now if they do somthing stupid I will make them pay, but, the really good sticks dont often do anything stupid. They must fly bombers too cause they know exactly how to set up for the specific bomber.

Im getting pretty good at dropping and gunning but there are some sticks that will make a fool of you.

Are you kidding?Try keeping five guys downed for about eight min's of vulching fun.
Dont get humiliated, i do it to others.
Com'on now son.

Get it together, its your fault for watching ONE plane 24/7 and not noticing the niki who APARENTLY made it back to your base just a little* under the time it took you.

Now niki's are NOT fast planes, maby in a dive, but her on the deck you shoulda had ALOT more time to get your gear down and your arse to the field. Now im guessin' you p|_|$sy footed it all the way back to your field, and even more so when you tryed to land.

----------------------------

If you cant use your num lock keys and look around and KNOW your situation and the enemy's location, thats your dang fault.
You died because you did not see her, you did not see her because you did not look. :huh

I don't think I've ever been made angry at or felt humiliated by a player who has killed me since I've flown Aces High.  In Aces High, the few times I've been made angry it's been when I've killed someone who has an ego they can't control.

in fact, other than the special case of BOBN, I don't recall ever feeling humiliated by being killed in any of the sims I've flown.   (I however remember more than than once as my plane comes apart flying in WarBirds praying over and over ... Please, please let that have been anyone but BOBN!) On the flipside, nothing was sweeter than killing Bobn, especially the time I got him after a 5+ minute on the deck duel - unless it was the time I whacked him unawares just after he finished typing a brag about how untouchable he was in a Dora.  (Nopoop, we miss you!)

There have however been many instances where some stooopid attribute of whatever sim I was flying has contributed to my demise, which has cheesed me off to no end ... but typically not at the other player involved.  I'd be hard pressed to say whether that happened more over the performance issues of Hotseat's WBIII Corsair modeling, or the screen freezes and stutters that were the norm for me whenever I engaged in WWIIOL.

There I was, RTB for fuel at about 5k in a Niki.  Checked my six and see a low dot following.  A look at the map showed no friends or enemy dots back there.  Figured he is staying low to keep off the map and will jump me when I set up to land.  Put my Niki into a 500 foot per minuet climb.  This slows me down which allows him to close the horizontal separation but the climb will increase the vertical separation.  Once he got under my tail, I level and make a 180 to rapidly close the horizontal separation.  I now see he is in a P-47.  I start a dive to force him to go vertical in defense.  Once I see he is committed, I pull up into a climb and make a slow left turn to keep him in sight at my low 7.  I knew the 47 had good zoom capabilities so I wanted to give him a few extra seconds.  But I didn’t want to wait too long because he would out accelerate me in the dive if he had a chance to get his nose down.  The timing had to be close.  At what I though was the right time, I stomp full left boot to rudder roll to the left.  My Niki rolls to about 135 degrees left and stops with the nose about 7 degrees below the horizon.  And to my horror, it is stuck there.  Left aileron does nothing.  Adverse yaw (right aileron left rudder)?  Nothing.  Engine torque?  No affect.  Pulling back on the stick pulls the nose down to about 10 degrees below the horizon but turns on the stall horn.  Pushing the stick forward pushes the nose up to about 5 degrees above the horizon but still stuck.  Can I pitch rock the bird?  No.  Is there a Pitch Override Switch I need to use?  No time for that now.  I’m sitting on my left ear falling straight down.  I check my six and I see he is zooming above me on his second loop.  All I can do is rudder roll back to the right to level the wings.  Stall horn is now full on.  Stick forward to break the stall and head straight for the ground.  The P-47 is saddled up nicely now but maybe I can mush him into the ground or a tree.  Maybe turn this into a contest to see which plane flies the slowest with flaps.  But a few turns and I’m dead.   Felt like a complete noob.  Scarred me a little too when I thought about what these cartoon airplanes might be doing with my instincts.

i got one.It was the FT map the knights were 2 bases from wining the map.So myself and WildDog1 uping at kill town.Took about 20min after dieing ALOT,we got it down he roled an M3 in but got spoted.Meanwhile i had a goon coming in from the West of town.I land in town squadit takes out last building. Then shawk says "what are you doing manscrew" i say what? Then shawk says "taking FT" as that was going on,I had to get troops out.A 109 comes hallin *** in kills me.While killing me he thinks it's cool i killed the troops. But he did not get any. With a M16 siting ON the maproom,my troops just walk on it.About 20sce after i died i get a maproom destroyed message.Every one was LMAO on range me and wildDog1 were amazed that we took it.Long story short WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOT. Rooks got pwned in FT...

We went on to win that mak 15min after taking rook FT and i must say it was great watching the rooks cry on 200 saying "damn knight took FT" in reality,we were just paying the rooks back for taking FT and TT all time.

That was the most humilliating defeat for the rooks i think.Even with shawk saying somthing on 200 about me in town,Ad some on killing me AND a GV on the Maproom.

PWNED.
