Video Making programs

I been wanting to make a squad video for the Chawks, but i need to find a cheap, or free video program to make it on.  plus i also need to know how to cut film from film viewer and put it in the media file for the video.  any advice or pointers would be outstanding.

You can get the free version of fraps to capture the video(the free version leaves a water mark) and use windows movie maker to put it together with transitions and effects......this is how i started with films.....i now use vegas to edit but thats not free ;)

doh forgot to add use the AH film viewer to set up your clips and fraps with the film viewer to capture the shots.

you can get a free 30day vegas trial to use.....but then you gotta squeeze all your film making into 30days :D

Or do what I do...get all the films together...and have them all ready for your 'video making day'

There are alot of video editing software out there in the linux world.  It is rather easy to convert the film from AH to any video format to make the film. I have even made DVD's for viewing.
