So I tune in ESPN to catch some of the Dodgers / Giants game, and instead the Dodgers are playing the San Francisco Gigantes.  That's what their home jersey says anyway.

Since when did we just give up?  When will they become the Nueva York Yanquis?

What's Spanish for Los Angeles and San Francisco? ;)

The Giants came from New York, and Los Angeles and San Francisco as well as California were named prior to the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.

I knew I hated the Giants for something other than not being Dodgers and having Bonds on their roster. :furious
