Thanks alot guys. I appreciate it.

But this wasnt started to be a look at me thread. I just wanted yall to remember the place and what you were doing at the time of the attacks. Im glad some of yall turned a thread about remembering the victims of 9/11 by turning it into a witch hunt. Congratulations.

In my sophomore year of college, I ran into an old friend at a regatta in New York.  He was attending west point.  We got talking about what we were doing with ourselves.  He began to talk about his waining dedication to his service due to the hard work he needed to put in.

But then he said that his team took a trip past ground zero coming in on friday, and he remembered exactly why he's doing it.  He remembers sitting in class exactly 4 years previous just as I had watching the towers get hit and go down.  


Unfortunately, the full might, intelligence, power and wrath of the United States were never unleashed on the Muslim world.  For it would have been a terrifying thing.
