Well maybe we need 500,000 troops over there, how we gonna do that? , the draft?, naw thats Charlie Rangles idea so its no good.

I know..we could treat it like WW2 and no rotations, every one is there for the duration and you don't have to worry about retention.

One good thing that would come of it, we would very quickly get a definition of just what victory was so the troops could come home.

And Bill Clinton? Is that who you were going to name?

Or maybe yourself? Say, did you ever earn your wings and fly a Century series fighter?

Tom Wolfe had a memorable and accurate quote about Century series fighters in "The Right Stuff":

Quote
"Being a fighter pilot -- for that matter, simply taking off in a single-engine jet fighter of the Century series, such as an F-102, or any of the military's other marvelous bricks with fins on them -- presented a man, on a perfectly sunny day, with more ways to get himself killed than his wife and children could imagine in their wildest fears."
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Surprised at you toad. You agreeing that a man must serve in order to give an opinion? Or even to become a legislator? Is that why you served your Country? To reserve rights for the few?

Come on Toad, I would give my left nut to fly a CF-104.  I am being absolutely honest here, literally my left testicle.  If anyone out there in cyberspace has one, consider this a binding contract.  One gonad to fly the Starfighter.  I have a daughter already and spare ball, so I think it is well worth the exchange.

Now doing it for a living and getting paid??

Email Congressman Wexler

I am very interested in hearing your views on issues of importance to you. Due to the large volume of US Mail, email and faxes I receive, I am only able to accept messages from residents of the 19th Congressional District of Florida.

While our website is undergoing construction, please click here to use the Write Your Representative Service to send us an email. We will recieve it just the same and you may use the link after filling out the form to return to this website.

If you are a resident of another district, I encourage you to contact your Representative in Congress by clicking the following link to the Write Your Representative Service.

Whoa hold the phone here....

Isn't he a member of Congress that rules over more than just issues involving the 19th Congressional District of FloriDUH?
His website is undergoing frikken reconstruction and yet he has large volumes of email? Make up your dam mind.
There is NO email address listed for this assshat.
It's amazing that someone elected to Congress cannot receive emails from Americans yet is elected to power.

This should be a wake up call to all the Lemmings of America.

YOU HAVE NO VOICE...
YOU HAVE AN ELECTED CONGRESS THAT DOES NOT CARE WHAT YOU THINK!
YOUR VOTE DOES NOT COUNT AND WILL NEVER COUNT!

Wake up America!!!

But he does represent and answer to the voters in Florida's 19th.

I tried Pelosi's a few weeks ago...  She was not (and I assume still does not) accept e-mails from other than San Franciscans.  I think this might be SOP.

A good read about Congress

I looked for anything that said they were just dutiful to their elected State... help me if I over looked a spot.

I think that the moveon.org add in the times perfectly illustrates how the liberal socialist democrats "support the troops"

The democrats know that progress in iraq is bad for their party at this point.

I LOVED how the (D) prettythangHAT from California at the beginning got up with a lengthly diatriabe about how they could show all the charts & graphs and quote percentages all they want and he still wouldn't believe them.

Before the General and Ambassador even began sworn testimony.

Hmmm...

THERE'S an open mind.

I wonder how many active duty servicemen in-country watched THAT on satallite TV...wondering who the REAL enemy was?

you might have noticed that osamas speech looked very much like it could have come from any democrat speech in recent times.   Leave out the "convert or die" (for now) and they are obviously kindred spirits with the same goals.
