I'm not much for sharing..................This news didn't come to me as a surprise.  My friend has told me for some time now about redeployment.............and the time is near.  

Maybe I just didn't want to believe, ignore the facts, and perhaps I'll not be forced to face the facts.  Yet I knew the time was near.  Today I was forced to face the reality of our times, by reading the post listed below.......................

<> LTAR Brothers!  As much as it pains me to do this, but it has been coming. This decision is not of any ONE mans fault but a varible of reasons. This is my 30 day notice, in which after 30 days I will resign my commision as a 1st LT in the LTAR squadron. The 6th of October will be the last weekend in which I will be able to fly with you guys for about 18 months. Although I will have internet capibilties where I will be at, I will not hold the slot of an officer during this time period. I feel that it is a great opportunity to give one of our fellow brothers a chance to shine in the squadron. I will be monitoring the Forums while  I am away, and will post an address for ya'll so you can send me some porn!!!

Thug, do you realize how much your the pride of everyone?  I told Thug I would not accept his resignation.............how can I fire an Officer for volunteering for going out on "Extended Patrol"?

You see LTARthug give him a big , and any other member of the Armed Forces, cause they're all heros.

It's been a while since this has struck so close to home............God Speed to my Officer, my squadmate, more importantly my friend.

Be Proud of him Ltars, that there is a good man going in harms way.

Ohh and forget about all the bs and politics on tv. There are a whole lot of us who know its guys like thug serving their country that keeps us sleeping safe in our beds at night.  Don't hold back, let em have it all, and show em how an Ltar does it!

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.
