JV44 looking to fly with another squad in FSO
« on: September 12, 2007, 03:17:12 PM »
Fellow FSO participants:

Due to alot of recent RL circumstances for a large number of our FSO regulars, the JV44 Butcher Birds (formerly JG44 Nighthawks) are entertaining the idea of flying FSO under/with another squad.

We have mainly struggled with our leadership team, but are now also having trouble mustering numbers.

Are there any squads that would be interested in 'taking us in' for future FSO frames?

I will guess our numbers for any given week will be in the 5-9 range.

Of course, we are looking to go this route for an undetermined amount of time until we can get our feet back under us for FSO.

Casper,

You could always lower your squad numbers to 4-6 or 7-10. This way you could carry on as your squad and not be forced to field large numbers.

Just a thought.

REPO -

done...our problem is not having someone who can reliably be there to lead the efforts and be responsible for any forthcoming CiC duties...

That can be cleared up with SLED, I'm sure. PM him and explain the situation. He's rather easy to work with. :)

Casper,
For a short term fix I can help most if not all of your squad with the Nightmares.  Obviously your going to need to fix what ever has gone wrong with your squads FSO plans but if you get your guy's in early I'll sign as many as I can for this week.

Our squad is kinda big so we run with the following rule.  First come... gets to fly in the FSO's.  If your guy's are ready to go they can fly with us.

Casper1, PM Lunger here on the boards.  COD is a small Squad and he might be willing to up our numbers some.  He is the CO, so I can't speak for him, but I think he would be fine with it.

Finally got my ISP issues resolved so I was able to take our guys out for Frame 2.  I will be available from now on.

On a good note we were able to muster good numbers and take our mission as planned.  Hope we were helpful for the cause.

The JV44 will be flying with the 68th, rekindling a past alliance with the Lightning Lancers.  This will probably startup for the next event!

THanks to all those whom offered ot help us out, I think the decision was made based on our long term relationship with the 68th and alot of close relationships our guys have with theirs.  Special thanks to Stampf for immediately extending you offer to help us out!
