Iggy and the Stooges
« on: September 13, 2007, 08:55:10 AM »
When I first listened to Stooges (I still have a Funhouse vinyl LP somewhere but nothing to play it with) - I never could imagine that I'll see them on stage.

They were in Moscow on Tuesday, played in a B1 club, an old factory workshop, and I still can barely talk - 2 hours of screaming and jumping, i was wise enough to get away from under the stage because i thought I'll be torn apart by the audience. Almost lost my shoes. Iggy blew the whole crowd apart. People screaming "Now I wanna be your dog!" in the subway trains...

The best show of pure energy and raw power :) I wonder why didn't they play Search and Destroy, probably because the audience will destroy the whole building.

I looked at Youtube for Stooges videos, this one looks like the funniest one, I just compare the audience at that show to Moscow mates :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IT0L-f_4Nk
