I made a thread a while ago (before starting school) telling about how i was going to AFJROTC.

I just wanted to say ITS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoy going to that class. I got picked as the class Leader. So after another cadet takes the roll he salutes me and tells me "The Class Is present and accounted for" then i salute him and turn to the Cheif and i do the same thing he did. I love that class. Theres alot of Model Airplanes hanging from the ceiling.
I had to wear my uniform Last thursday. It was pretty cool. :D  Were supposed to go to Florida this fall, to go to some airbase or something.

Is anyone else in AFJROTC?

Closest ROTC to me is a half hour to an hour away, but I'm glad you enjoy it.

Don't have Airforce ROTC here. We have NJROTC .(let you guess what it is) :)

Excellent and Congrats on Class Leader

What type of extra curricular activities does AFJROTC Have?  Was in AJROTC many years ago, we had a Drill Team(spinnin rifles around), Recon Team(Got to go out and play warrior), Color Guard(Did ceremonies, Foosball games, etc), Rifle Team(Pellet guns only sad to say ).  Just wonderin what is out there now for kids to do.

We have other stuff like the Military Ball, Road Side Cleanup (you get a ribbon if you do it enough). Theres more stuff, but i cant remember it right now. :D

Do people hit golf balls at you?

Another trick to getting into college is to spell universities correctly.

I have to say that as an Air Force MTI we get tasked all the time to judged drill meets.  Some of these high school teams are sht hot.  These kids got there act together and make some services honor guard teams look like rookies even though they are a bunch of high school kids.

It's good to see kids still get into some of these programs.

NJROTC is great!

Yep, i'm in AFJROTC, unit IA951.

I'm a proud memeber of the armed drill team and the color guard team.
