Jus got Verizon Fios this past week.
Lov'n it.
Only downside is I loose some of the "local" chanels I used to get with cable.
Namely I now only get the 3 biggies CBS,NBC,ABC,FOX out of New York where I used to get them from both NY and Philly.
this is only a downside because I had the benifit of being able to choose between watching the Giants, And Jets oout of NY OR the Eagles out of Philly. And my Weather Report out of Philly was more accurate to my location then from NY.
Not a HUGE big deal but I liked the choices I had in Football games.
In any event. I LOVE FIOS.
Even the picure comes in clearer then in Cable even on non High Def Sets
but its also left me with equipment I no longer need.
Namely a
Moterola surfboard SB5100 Cable Modem
And a
Lyksys Etherfast model BEFSR41 Cable/DSL Router (NOT wireless capable)
Yea I know the stuff isnt new. but if anyone finds themselves in need.
