I flew a f4u4 it seems to me when u use wep u get more flight time ...I was looking at e6b.... can someone verify this....seems backwards or is this correct

It is correct that way. It's the same with P-47N.
They both use water injection under WEP, thus lowering fuel consupmtion.

Still, the 4's a gas-guzzler. Best to take a DT or two if you're not scrambling for local base defense.
