Hello all building a new pc and wonting to now your opinion about it

Prices are in euros and only from shops from where i live Portugal Lisbon because in same cases the costs of shiping dont compensate

The pc is not only for AH but for work mostly MsOffice related and for other games mostly strategy games including the new ones using diretx10

Intel Core 2 Duo E6850-€264 or
Intel Core 2 Duo (Conroe)6600-€270

I've been recommending Asus boards to my clients for years. There's a recent review on the P5K series here;

Don't know anything about the other board, so I'd suggest doing some searching for reviews on it before deciding. You can't go wrong with the Asus P5K, and I'd say go with the P5K-E unless you really want the wifi and added features.

All but one of my builds has not been an Asus board.  I've always had great performance and no technical issues with at least half a dozen models.

However, the website is either near the center of the earth, or running off 5 2400 baud modems.
