Any MA squads recruiting?

I am willing to go through a try out period, of course. However, I must warn that I am new to the finer points of the game. I am a fast leaner and have been flying flight sims for a very, very long time. I've been flying in H@H for about 10 months till it got shut down.

Put me in a squad and I'll do what I'm told. Want me to bait fighters for you to clean up? Done! Anything really. I should be available to fly most nights and would really like to fly with some experienced hands looking to do some coordinated flying.

I would like an experienced squad that has an established core group of flyers and a good history. I know I might be being picky, but I have had my fair share of squads/clans/ breaking up in other flightsims and other games in general. I am sick of instability. I want a concrete base from which to build my skills and team work. Not a flakie squad that might self-destruct on me.

I'm really easy going (but pretty competitive) and if you have something to teach/tell me, I'm going to listen to you.

P.S. sorry if this is the wrong place to list this, but I asked a couple people in MA and just got laughed at. Not because I was flying poorly (these people didn't even see me fly). To be truthful, I don't understand why the acted like that. Is it an inside joke about possible recruits asking for squads?

Saw that. But I don't know what squad is what there. They all look like they are people trying to START squads. Even if there are reputable squads with recruitment posts there, I have no way of knowing which is a long established one and which is a pack of 13 year olds looking to get my hopes up.

orwell, search in that squadrons forum for 71 squadron. been around 3+ years now, with 60+ members all round the world, so there's usually always someone online.

we're not the most organised squad, we're really just a bunch of great friends, very laid back, who all like to fly fighters together. we do buffs and GVs from time to time, but furballing and big squad sweeps are our 'thing'

if you need to learn, no probs, with modesty, we have some of the best fighter sticks in the game, infact, quite a few of them. we're laid back, fly what we want, where we want but we're a very close-nit group. you might enjoy flying with us, i don't know. do a search in the squadrons forum for our post, you should find a good deal of better info there.

We've been going for around a month. If you like, you can tune in. We fly Bish, and we pretty much play the whole spectrum of the game with whatever situation comes our way. I regularly check my PM box, so contact me if you are interested.

Must be able and willing to fly alone or with others whenever you feel like it.

Squadnights are whenever 2 or more happen to be taking off from the same base at the same time (more like squad moments)

Ranks are based on when you last bathed.
The longer the time between bathings. The more you rank.

Ranking within the squad doesnt qualify you to be anything but..rank


You must be willing to fly any plane you want.  with any skin you want with any one you want any time you want.

Squad objective. To have as much fun as you can doing whatever you want while causing as much greif as you can for the opposing teams.

Organization is as follows...None

Awards and commendations are as follows... "WTG (insert handle)

Unless you fly spits in which case its "WTG (insert handle) ya spit dweeb)

Upon entering the squad. Nude pics of your wife/girlfriend to pass around the squad  are always welcome but not mandatory.

No, not really but the 1st thing that comes to mind for some folks is a 10 yr old kid, trying out a 2 week free trial

Major Biggles 71st RAF is a good group...some very accomplished sticks there who always put up a great, fair fight. They fly Knights, who seem to be shy on numbers lately.
