A new P38 wrecking first...I'm so proud!
« on: September 22, 2007, 03:06:07 AM »
In all my years of wrecking 38s in Aces High, I've never had both engines burning.  Tonite was the night!  Granted I didn't fly long this way, but it looked really nice and was good entertainment for those around me waiting for the inevitable wing falling off my Lightning.  This time they both came off at the same time :)

Oh there were two fuel leaks too.  Four streams of flame or fuel trailing me.

I figure it's a sign of my fate for the upcoming scenario:D

Once the wings come off, the fires generate considerable downforce.

Question being, will both wings detach at the same time or will one come off and the resulting torque reaction detach the remaining one????????? :noid

Sorry to inform you Guppy, but engine fired don't exist in our game as of yet; your fires were the two fuel leaks. :D

Purdy, though.

does that alt+f4 thing work on anyone outside of squeaker season?  I think the use of it outside of squeaker season incurs a 200 perk point penalty.

I got plenty of bomber perks, you can have 200 if you need them

I mean, it does have 2 engines, so it must be a bomber, right?  :noid

My CO of a couple years at that point (*cough* C0MET *cough*) saw on Channel 2 that Alt-F4 gave a speed boost.

We had been driving an hour and a half in LVTA4s to go Howie a strat target "for massive perks" when he saw it. I had enough time to yell "No, don" before I got sprayed with pieces of a disco tank.

I found out in a JUG that you have 2.5 minutes to live with a flaming arse like I had a few nights ago.  AAOLDS loaded me up with a few hundred rounds of 50 and lighted me up like a Christmas tree.  My youngest was saying how pretty it was like a candle.  Then I blew up.  Good fight Olds I enjoyed the hell out of it.
