You'd be wrong because S. Korean and Japanese both travel extensively back and forth, share music, TV, food and many cultural things. Oh sure, there are some still holding onto the past, like politicians, but most normal people have caught after several generations that war is over. The US Civil War is over too, just in case you thought southerners are not especially fond of northerners.
