Nice pics, however seems the color saturation is not right and they're alittle blown out. But hey, that's just me.... (Here is what I was thinking about for saturation and bringing the blown out portions back into contrast... http://pic4.picturetrail.com/VOL767/2726312/8668097/280677601.jpg  I have my protective gear on for when Ramsey and that other guy from Phoenix begin to attack me for altering your photos. Feel free to post process any I post, I could use the help! ;) )

Eww. Reminds me of a curtain from the 70's or something. Nice and drab.

They're not "true bugs", but spiders still end up in dictionary definitions of bugs :)

Noticed this crawling up the wall the other night:

Was about 6 or 7 inches. Didn't get a chance to take a better picture, it was moving too fast to get a better picture before the opportunity to squash it passed.

And this in my shower a few days before that:

Some other wildlife:

Hello ant
running very fast
I squish you

Thanks, Ripsnort.. but, honestly, that overdid the color a bit.  The dragonfly shot is pretty washed out, and there's a little washout on the bee-looking thing,  but the rest are darn close to 'real' color.. at least on my machine.

The plant and flowers just aren't that vibrant, naturally.

LOL..NO!  Spiders are cool.  They set up shop and you pretty much know where they are.  Meanwhile, they eat bugs.. lots of bugs.. Things that eat bugs ( Snakes, spiders, lizards.. etc ) are cool.  I'll qualify that by saying that things that eat bugs and are generally smaller than small pets are cool.  Bears eat grubs.. which could be called a bug.. and bears, although cool, are dangerous.  Aardvarks eat bugs too.. but they are just wierd.

We have a praying mantis hiding around here too.  I just have to find him when I have the equipment ready.  I tried last week but didn't use flash and the backlighting washed out the image pretty badly. Great if you want a shadow backdrop on a 'B' flick.. but not what I'm looking for.

Thanks for the comments, folks!

Moot, if my wife saw that in our shower, we'd be packing up to leave in a heartbeat..lol. Other pics are good too.. One of the few cat pictures that doesn't have that expression of 'just-wait-until-we-rule-the-earth-human-your-butt-is-mine' look.
