Naa, I was replying to E25280's post. It was more of a pot-kettle thing.
Both teams have not played anyone with a winning record., but next week should be fun.
Just caught this one.
For the record, I hate the Pats. They are 6-0 now, and nothing would please me more than seeing them go 6-10.
But, they actually had a winning record, unlike any other opponent Dallas had beaten to that point.
My point was that they had thus far only won against mediocre-to-very poor teams, and they hadn't been tested. Since the Patriots actually had a winning record, if they won I would have to withdraw the statement that they had only beaten bad teams. So, I don't see the Pot-Kettle thing you are talking about.
But, since the Patriots whooped 'em, I am instead able to re-iterate that they (the Cowboys) have not yet accomplished much in my mind.
Unfortunately for the NFC, the Cowboys still look like the top team of the conference. I don't see anyone in the conference able to match up to the Patriots, Colts, or even the inexplicably sucky-looking Chargers for that matter.
There are still many weeks left in the season, so who knows what will happen. But I thought a couple weeks ago the Cowboys bandwagon was leaving a bit early, and still do.
