You do not have to change anything, Windows or the Internet will make the changes for you.

Didi you run a Ping Plot )http://www.pingplotter.com) to see if it was Internet related?  That would be my first thought.

I've been having this problem since last Sat. Sept 29
5 min in, system freeze. Online, offline, different video drviers, different video cards, Internet provider tells me I have a sound connection, reinstalled AH twice. Did Dxdiag, says all good. All latest updates for drivers and windows.

Was in training arena Fri night with squad, and all fine.
Sat mourning I log on and 5 min in, system freeze.

I've been playing since last April, and I haven't changed a thing to my comp. This seems to have happened out of the blue.

I will post my system specs when I get home from work, maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Your ISP is only going to tell you the condition of your local Internet connection.  That will not tell you the state of the Intenet.

And whether you know it or not, your computer changes all the time courtesy of Windows.  Microsoft finally acknowledged they do install things on your computer without your knowledge and the only way to stop that is to disconnect from the Internet.  They have been doing it since Windows Xp was released and continue doing it with Vista.

Running Ping Plot, or trace routes to the game servers will not hurt anything and may actually show a problem on the Internet,  Best case it will show nothing wrong, then we can rule it out and move on.  Worst case, there is a problem along the way to the servers or back from the servers and we know where to start complaining.

Open the Task Manager, with nothing running on the desktop.  Select the "Processes" tab.  In the lower left corner is the number of processes.  While there is no standard here, a good number is around 19 to 21.  Then look at the CPU usage next to it.  It should be bouncing between 9 and 1 like a heartbeat.

You can also look at the resources the game is using.  I find many people overestimate how many free resources they have available and tunr things up in the game only to find they are causing freezes and pauses due to resource starvation.  Just a though as I have no idea what your computer configuration is.

Thanks skuzzy. I have "pingplotter" now, but what address do I trace?

Before getting Disco'd in the MA's(both blue and orange) I spent quite a while in the TA with no problems what so ever.

Use 206.16.60.37 for the Ping Plot trace.

Busier arenas place more load on your computer.  It may not be Internet related.  You might be looking at a resource issue.  Everytime we add something new (objects, skins...) it increases the potential resource usage of the game.

But that is also easy enough to track.  Start with the in-game 'Net Status' graph (right-click on the clipboard map for the menu option).  If the 'Variance is not flat-lined, then describe what it is doing.

The trace for 206.16.60.37 came op at an average of 86. I have no idea what that means as it is the first time using that program, but everything was green as opposed to yellow or read. The highest number I saw of all the ip's in the box was 98.

I also realize now that I was downloading the new skins automatically in game...that very well may have been it. I'll try turning that off and try playing a lil later. It has never been a problem before though.
Also after getting disco's if I tried to log right back in I was getting a black screen at the arena choice box. The only other time I've seen that was when the server went down.

in game net status was flat lined with no variance.
maybe it was just a fluke and my connection was having problems last night. I just played for about five mins with no loss of udp.
