Was looking for some JG 77 411 (service in tunisia) and happened across this. I had no idea that JG 77 flew the 205 in Italy....translated diary from JG 77

Took me a while to find it, but I knew I'd seen a photo of one in LW markings.  Turns out it's the same bird as the model.

From the 82nd FG history.  Figures it was an MTO 38 book :)

Back when I was actually a member of the III/Jabostaffel and we had the rule of only flying LW planes some people gave us crap about flying the 205... we (JB42 and myself) that there were actually 1 or 2 squads of LW pilots flying C.205's.

I have it in a book here at home somewhere, but have had a hard time finding the actual information on the internet.
