i hate (and always have) the way the sound of your engines go from start reving up to minimal manifold and slowly climb back up so darned suddenly! I'd love to hear the engine sounds become a bit more complex :D

It does it with both stock and other packs. its in the timing of the sounds, not the sounds them selves.

you can make your own sounds, just experiment until you find a sound you like.

Hes saying its not the sounds he wants changed but the timing of the sounds.  A real engine would take a lot long then .2 seconds to got from just a slight rumble to a roaring full power.  He wants it wear your engine would slowly rumple up to power. make more since now? (Least I think that is what he wants)

Husky01 thats pretty much what I'm looking for :)
not the sounds themselves to be changed, I've done that already. But the sound engine itself, the sounds dont mesh together no matter what sound pack you use, they may sound more realistic on their own, but go play IL2 Sturmovic, start the engine in a plane, then turn it off just before it fully starts. then do the same in AHII, there is a HUGE difference in the timing, and placement of the sound, where in IL2 it sounds like you turned the engine off at that exact rpm rate, but in AHII when you do that, it sounds like you just turned off your engine from a max rpm rate no matter what you're actually at :noid

Holy hell, this thread needs Firefox 2...

Anyway, set your joystick's throttle dampening to the top. It'll give that realistic effect AND make you suck more. :aok

The scream the Germans Stuka made during a dive bombing was actualy manufactured by engineers with the basic properties that a whistle uses. I heard this before on tv, and cannot back it up at the moment. The screech was designed to terrorize. Research it. I am sure I am right.

And what does it have to do with anything?
