You can download updated versions of Steel panthers here

They are free and fairly good games if you like turn based tactical sims.

Really, I remember these games from back in the dark ages.  Of course the last thing they would run on was windows 98 so I havn't played them in a long time.

I played in a big tournament at Battlefront the winner got a case of wine shipped for free from Winecape South Africa, I lost miserably...:) Anyway Im writing an AAR too with Pictures. :)
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Yeah check them out, they are free but they have a CDrom version with bigger windows screen sizes thats 30 bucks.  

I have played these games over the years more then any other game.   They have a modern version going from 1950 to 2025 and a WW2 version that goes from the 30s to 46.

Gameplay is much like you will remeber with many added features.   Good stuff.
