I haven't any idea where I should put this post, so I'm putting it in general forum.

Okay, so I've noticed alot of 'moving' avatars, that have multiple pictures, or sometimes even short video's.  *cough cough*  treize...

I'm just wondering how I could make one of these myself?  :D
There was once a saying that goes "If you put an infinite amount of monkeys in a room with an infinite amount of typewriters, eventually they will produce something worth reading."

The internet has proved this wrong.

I think you need a certain program to do it.

I asked someone with the program to make it for me and email it to me. All I had to do was give them the pics and what I want it to say.

Dichotomy and Husky are two I know that have the program.

Adobe ImageReady will do it.

It's a sister program of Photoshop.

That's how I made them when I used to make them.

You can import films and make them into BMPs (As with Trieze's avatar).

Short films are ideal and it is recommended that you remove as many frames as possible (whilst still retaining a good flow of images) in order to keep the file as small as possible so that it does not slow down the page for others.

Or you can simple set up a chain of moving images as with your DGS avatar or Latrobes.

You need a gif animator like the one included with PaintShop Pro.  I'm sure you can find a free one at http://www.download.com/ or http://downloads.zdnet.com/

Have you got a nice set and a black bikini top?  If not I wouldn't waste the time.

currently I have no avatar projects pending so if somebody is looking for one and has an idea they'd like me to try just pm me.  Sometimes I can get them done in a day and sometimes it takes about a week.
