humble was just cohearsing some to go fly in the DA ( furball island )........

and it worked had about 24+/- people on in there and mostly decent furballs ...

Actually I've had some great fights...in fact I'd say 95% of the time its outstanding. My only "whine" is when all you see are tempests, -4 hogs, hurricane 2C's and Zekes. The 1st two are invariably just pickers and while the latter two are certainly "acceptable" what you see are 2C HO machines and zekes that come in and pick the ongoing fights.

Overall quality of the fights is outstanding with more and more good sticks stopping in. Also a growing number of guys who are learning quick. As WW has stated the TA as currently configured gives you the ability to learn alot without taking damage. Thre flip side is that learning the fine edge requires damage. To me the "FB island" gives a good place for learning all the real fundementals of disimiliar plane type/variable E state/variable tactical situations that the artificial "dueling" enviornment doesnt allow.

The 190/tiffie/pony etc are all welcome and needed (IMO) to make it more then a pure T&B enviornment. Whats funny is the TBM is enabled but not the SDB...sadly neither is the A-20. One of these days I'll fly an A-20 over to see how it stacks up.....

Here is  how the FB works in the DA.  Guy tries to HO, misses dies, comes back in spit 16, HOs misses dies, comes back in a tempest while you are engaging his buddy, they both HO, buddy dies tempest runs, buddy comes back in a Spit16, misses HO dies, tempest augers and out come the 163s.

Yeah, for every one single good fight there you have to go through the above for 15 minutes or so.

DA was not intended for furballing so HT should fix it, again :rofl :O
