Heres a model I built of Maj.Eino Luukkanen's 109G2.I believe Hanns Wind and a few other guys flew it as well.I would like to thank all my Finnish buddies in AH who helped make it happen

Kippis!

Germany, after years of research relizes its pocket airforce was a miserable failure, thus it is forever stored away in a top secret underground storage facility/kenmore warehouse so they are prepared if those danged polish kids and their toy planes invade again.

You know your a dweeb when you love flight sims so much, you believe you can do it better and go start your own flight sim company.

Gave up modelling when I was twelve but I'm still envious of people who do have the skill. Very nice.

But, lousy modeller I may be, but a decent photgrapher I am. Take the model (and the dryer too, if you insist) to a friend who can make pics that do it justice :aok

Your rite I realy need to get a better camera. If you guys could see that 109 in person you would understand what I mean.A lot of detail got washed out in the photos.I just took it to the local hobby shop where I buy all my modeling goods. They seemed to of realy liked it.Ill set up a better spot to take the photos next time. The dryer is just a convienant spot.Prolly the only spot that isnt cluttered in my house heheheh

Thanks for having a look fellaz!

Pipz, as I've recently moved, I don't have all my books available, but what I remember off-hand (and could confirm with quick googling), the MT-201 was Eino Luukkanen's plane while in Lentolaivue 34 (which doesn't mean other pilots couldn't/didn't fly it). MT-201 was later (May 1944 IIRC, when LLv34 got G-6's) transferred to Lentolaivue 24, where it was Hans Wind's and later Olli Puro's plane. Total victories achieved in MT-201 seem to be 35 and a half.

Thanks for the background Panzzer:aok I enjoy modeling the fighters with interesting histories.I just finished reading Eino Luukkanens book "Fighter Over Finland" it was insperational to my model building and a good read!35 victores is a nice number of kills for a single aircraft.I believe the plane survived the war but im not sure.Any information on what happen to it?

Kippis!
