Last Night I came on late (About 8:30 PDT) and my squaddies were trying to take V6 on the NDIsles map (LW BLUE). apparently the attack had started with them attempting to kill the VHs with JABOs and they had not gotten all three at once and there were two guys in GVs that would spawn and wreck the attack before the last VH could get destroyed. I came in on my first sortie in a heavy P38 and knocked down the last VH, killed the two GV on the base and RTBed to re arm. Before the goon could drop one of the VHs had respawned and the same two guys had re upped to kill our goon... This happened over and over again. Eventually the two defenders got help from some of their rook brethern and the 5 of us gave up. I was amazed how well two people can defend a VH against a small attack when the soreies are coming in onesies and twosies. I can't remember who was defending. I wish I could because we were so frustrated that we never gave them a for the great defense. In the spirit of recognizing a superior effort I salute the guys defending V6 last night! GREAT JOB!!!
