Off hour score padding lives!

Well we've been under this new score system long enough to now determine that whatever score whoring practices that used to go on in the EW and MW now take place in whichever LW arena is down in the numbers.  For the past week it seems to fall on LW Blue to be the score padding center.  If anything score whoring has become easier for LW regulars as they now have every aircraft available to perfect their trade instead of being stuck with all that early war stuff.

What I don`t get is ....why do you or anyone care?
How does it pertain to....anything?
It has and will continue in one form or another.
The only people I can see that it would bother would be other bean counters.
Score/rank can only mean anything to yourself, maybe as a personal guideline to what you are trying to accomplish at the time.
There was an hour long channel 200 hundred bashing in LW yesterday morning about a score padder.
The hilarious thing was that the main cheerleader for the bashing is one of the biggest "game the gamers" in the game.
Get over it. Play the game.

I raised the issue because some claimed the separate scores for the arenas would do away with this particular form of score whoring and because I love pointless BBS banter.  I could care less about people doing it also, hell I find them nice targets.

I don't think ANYTHING will do away with it totally, but is has curbed it a bit. If you check the scores, for the most part you see those that you would expect near the top as apposed to all those "kids" that use to be fighting for the top spots. SHawk is the only one really carrying a top rank in each of the categories.

Generally those that are good in fighters spend little time in buffs and vis-a-versa and the score boards are showing that now.  Those that thought it would "Stop the score whoring" are living in a dream world. The score board is wayyyyy to important to some people to not have them spending their time doing only the things that will help their scores, but hey, its there $15, and it's the kind of "fun" they want to pay for.

Now now, score is better achieved using the early war equipment.

Not really. Flying EW planes in LW arena gives you more perks (and maybe a good feeling ), but it gives you not more kill/damage  points for score purposes.

Only has a influence in perk gain.

Change it.  Include ENY or one of the other values.  Then I will be right

The ENY balancing is also to "encourage people to fly other planes".  You see how well that works...  Imagine the whines if a plane's ENY was taken into the calculation for rank!?!?!?!?
