Steak Sandwich MMMM
« on: October 12, 2007, 05:16:59 PM »
Just wanted something quick tonight and didnt feel like going out.
but I wanted BEEF.

So I took a roast out and instead of roasting it. I did what I sometimes do.

Plopped a blob of butter into my cast iron skillet and set it melting.

Sliced up some onion and tossed that in

then I took the roast and I shaved off a  whole bunch of thin slices off it
nd set it aside for a moment while I smashed a cove of garlic and chopped it up very fine.
And tossed this in the skillet
Onions at this point are starting to turn brown.

Toss in the meat. Sprinkled it with some "Mrs Dash Steak Rub" and fried till the red in the meat was almost gone..

Slap it all on a hard roll And you have pure heaven in less then 20 min

Pick up a small  roast instead.
You will find that pound for pound its cheaper and you dont have to beat it to death to make it tender LOL

Ah, sometimes you need to be bad and eat unhealthy.  Just keep it all in balance.

I've been doing hte super-douper health food thing for a few years.  Now my girlfriend and kids have since moved in...and dang, they sure don't eat "light"  LOL.  I think I've put on a pound or two as a result  :lol

Whiz wit' :D
Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
