Did you read the e-mail in question about the swastika. I didn't see any support for it or what it symbolizes at all. Here I'll quote the part of his second e-mail where he mentions it.

"I was wondering why a swastika painted by some frustrated ladies in their bathroom turned somehow into red flags of a hate crime but you dont consider an asian guy admittedly killing people because he hated them not hate motivated"

I do not like a swastika or what it stands for but I understand this guys question. Why is a painted symbol more of a hate crime than wanton mass murder?

I think this guy might have a couple issues to deal with, one being why he attended a University that he dislikes so much but I didn't see anything in either of those e-mails that warranted a ban from campus and denial of his paid for education.

By the time a student gets to a University they are in the position to start expressing ideas and exploring alternative styles of thought. So far it seems the university in this question say thought is OK as long as it agrees with their president.

Maverick, this is from the 2nd email. He doesn't say it directly, but it looks like clear support of Naziism to me. If he didn't support Nazis, he'd separate himself from the graffiti vandals, but instead, he just criticizes their methods. He also calls them "frustrated", as though being opposed to affirmative action is a good excuse for painting swastikas... Sorry, but I'm opposed to affirmative action and I don't think supporting Nazis is the answer.

What is this asian guy mass killing he's talking about? Did the asian guy kill people because of their race, or because he just hated them? Hate crime refers to racial hate.

Yes, I agree that a disgustingly liberal agenda permeates the higher educational system, but let's not kid ourselves by thinking this kid is a perfectly normal conservative being oppressed by Jane Fonda.

Nowhere in the e-mail does he say that he supports or approves of the use of a swastika. If you think he did then you are reading something in the message I didn't see stated.

I believe the asian guy he is talking about is the Virginia Tech hugahunk.

I do see a lot of frustration but no real indication that he is a nazi sympathizer.
